Franz Kapka Inspired Game Metamorphosis Gets a Gameplay Trailer

All In! Games has just released the gameplay trailer of its Franz Kafka inspired game called Metamorphosis. The trailer gives us a good look at the perspective-shifting-world of the game. In addition, the publisher has also announced a free demo of the game that is available right now on Steam.

As a part of the Steam Summer Game Festival that is on-going right now, Metamorphosis is available for you as a free demo that you can download and play.

Created by the Polish developer studio Ovid Works, in Metamorphosis you play as Gregor, a man who has morphed into a tiny bug and set out on an extraordinary journey to unravel the mystery of your transformation. Metamorphosis is a first-person adventure based in a surrealist world where your newfound abilities are your last and only hope for redemption.

The game will take you into the world of the bugs, where the protagonist will take the shape of a bug that has to navigate through the world of humans.

Metamorphosis Gameplay

Here are the features that you can expect from Metamorphosis:

  • A bug’s perspective in first person – see the world in a whole new way
  • Challenging environmental puzzles – parkour, wall climb, search for clues, and overcome obstacles
  • Unique movement mechanics – make full use of your tiny body and sticky limbs
  • A story inspired by Kafka’s imagination – meet eccentric characters in a hand-painted world, as you journey through surrealist landscapes towards The Tower
