Our Metro Exodus The Volga Collectible Locations Guide will help you find all collectibles in the fourth chapter The Volga of Metro Exodus. All collectibles are detailed below in the order in which they are found while playing the chapter from the start.

Collectible #1 – Diary

This get this collectible, exit the train and follow the rail that is going to the west. You will now come across a break in the railing to the north, where a rail car has slid down the hillside. This diary is called Moldy Log.

Go to the end of this railcar, and look north towards a shack with two shrimp enemies speared outside. Inside the shack you will find the diary next to a dead body,

Collectible #2 – Diary

This diary page can be found when you are given the mission by Anna, and when you go to locate her on a sealed bunker. Stay to the right of the walkway and follow the corridor making the right turns until you reach a dead end to find the diary on the shelf. This diary is called Logged Note

Collectible #3 – Diary

This diary page can be found on the large rectangular building. This building can be located on you map next to the anchor symbol. Head down the stairs in this building, and open the wire door that leads you to the basement. This diary is called Faded Note

In the basement, straight against the far wall, the diary will be on some shelves.

Collectible #4 – Diary

This diary page can be located in  a bandit camp that is inside a large castle like structure. This diary is called Folded Letter.

Collectible #5 – Suit Upgrade

You can get this upgrade in the same bandit camp of the castle like structure. It will be on a crate by the door entrance inside the main building.

Collectible #6 – Suit Upgrade

You can get these Night Vision Goggles from the prisoners that you free in the same bandit camp.

Collectible #7 – Diary

This diary page can be found near the gas station where there is a white van half buried in the ground. It will be on the passenger side of the door. This diary is called Sturdy Envelope.

Collectible #8 – Diary

This is near the same white van, where it will be inside the office of the gas station. Get inside through the broken front window and into the room on the left. You will the find Weathered Notice on the green shelf.

Collectible #9 – Diary

The location of this diary is at a ruined structure on the middle right side of the map. here you will have to climb the ladder to find a Folded Note

Collectible #10 – Diary

This diary needs to be collected before you recover Krest’s railcar as this is a missable item. In the middle of the lower right island there is a large gap of water with a very small island at the top of it, the ‘Bandit Note’ diary will be found among the corpses.

Collectible #11 – Diary

This collectible is in a safehouse that is built into the back of a transport truck on the road, southeast of the bridge. The Torn Page diary will be on the shelf inside this safehouse.

Collectible #12 – Diary

This item is in the same safehouse where you found the above collectible. It will be on a shelf to the right when you enter.

Collectible #13 – Diary

As part of a main story progression, you will have to go after a passenger car in the terminal that is far right on the map. The diary Thick Ledger is in the room where you enter. The room is at the end of the area after Anna radios you. The ledged will be on a chair to the left.

Collectible #14 – Diary

This is inside one of the safehouse that is in the middle of the map, just east of the train. The safehouse is the one that is covered in spiderwebs and mold. Burn the webs and head inside where you can find the Dusty Workbook on the desk.

Collectible # 15 – Diary

This is in a small shack that is in the bottom right of the map. Enter the door, the Blood Stained diary will be on the shelf on the opposite wall.

Collectible # 16 – Diary

This can be found in a clinic on an island that is in the middle of the southern lake. Go inside and through a doorway to find the Patient Ledger that is sitting on a desk.

Collectible # 17 – Suit Upgrade

This item can be found at the bottom middle of the map where a small island will be with a ruined house and a nearby container. Here you need to find a fuel to fire the generator. This will give you access to the ruined house.

Follow the wire to the door that now has power to the switch next to it. Turn the switch and open the door. Inside on the right, you’ll see a corpse hooked up to several wires. Flip the nearby switch and you will fry the body and blow the breaker, allowing you to then take the battery off of the corpse.

The suit upgrade is a batter charge controller.

Collectible #18 – Suit Upgrade

This can be found in the bandit camp on the large island below the center island tracks on the left side. You will find a small room within the camp. the suit upgrade is a Reinforced Helmet.

Collectible #19 – Suit Upgrade

This item can be found in the bandit camp that is far right on the large central area of the map. this will be behind a locked gate that needs to be broken. Go into the dark hallway, the upgrade will be glowing red on the left side of the hall.

Collectible #20 – Suit Upgrade

This is in the same spiderweb covered safehouse where you found the diary. These are filters that you can pick up.

Collectible # 21 – Postcard

This item can be found inside the church, after you meet Nastya and Katya, go to the room on the north side of the second floor that has a sewing machine on the table. Climb the yellow ladder to a new room. Continue forward and then turn right where the postcard is on the wall.

Collectible #22 – Postcard

This item can be found where you go find Krest on a crane. When you enter the crane, the postcard will be on the wall directly across, right by the exit door.

Collectible #23 – Postcard

This item is in a safehouse that is south of the terminal. The postcard is on the wall right across when you enter the room.

Collectible # 24 – Postcard

This item can be found at the end of the level when you are fighting at the bridge compound with Duke. When you sneak past the group of fanatics, you will go into a room with a  guard on  the left and a fire barrel just ahead. The postcard is on the wall next to this barrel.

Collectible # 25 – Postcard

This is in the same safehouse that is built on the back of the transport truck, on a shelf to the right as you enter.
