Microsoft Flight Simulator Insider

Microsoft has announced that the first Insider Builds for their upcoming flight sim game Microsoft Flight Simulator will start arriving next month. Players who have signed up for the Insider Program will start receiving their developer builds next month and over the course of next months, they will help the developers in creating the best Flight Simulator game ever.

Flight Simulator franchise is returning after a really long time and it was one of those franchises which were thought to be dead. This time, however, Microsoft Flight Simulator is also coming out on Xbox One which makes it the first Flight Simulator title to come to a console. Earlier versions were strictly limited to PC only however we had good reasons for that because early consoles were unable to cope up with the size and the demands of the franchise.

The latest title was revealed by Microsoft at the E3 2019 presentation and it was one the most surprising reveals of the event. Microsoft did not reveal a release date however the reveal window is planned for some time in 2020 and it will come out on both PC and Xbox One. The game will use Microsoft Azure which is Microsoft’s premium cloud-based technology. It is also slated to be the biggest Flight Simulator titles as the game will allow players to ‘go anywhere in the world’.

The game looks amazing even in the reveal trailer even though it is still in early development phases. The first batch of the content will include a detailed preview of the Development Roadmap, clips captured from the build and Preview Build Program which will detail on the first build deliverable.

More updates will be announced on August 8, 2019, according to the official press release. The signups are now open so if you want to apply and become an Insider, you can head over to the official site and apply right now. However, you must keep in mind that applying does not guarantee access to the Preview Build. It will be still up to Microsoft who gets the Preview Build and who waits.
