Microsoft has announced that its premium video game streaming service Project xCloud will be available to all Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. Starting September 15, 2020, all Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will be able to use the power of Project xCloud and play over 100 games on their Android phone or tablet. The service will initially launch in beta and will be available in 22 countries at launch to ensure that a stable platform is provided to all those involved in the beta.
The library will consist of many amazing titles such as Minecraft Dungeons, Destiny 2, Tell Me Why, Gears 5, Yakuza Kiwami 2, and many other AAA titles as well. Microsoft also announced that since Xbox Game Pass allows players to play all future exclusives from Day One, Project xCloud will also ensure that all these titles are available to them on their mobile devices as well right from their launch day. Additional details will be shared on the game catalog in the future.
Players will get all features with Project xCloud that include their gaming profile, friends list, achievements, controller settings, and saved game progress. Players will be able to stop playing on their home console, pick up their mobile phone or tablet, and continue playing from the same spot where they left on-the-go via cloud gaming. This also introduces a brand new way of playing couch co-op even if the game does not support it.
With Project xCloud, you can play with your friend or family member as they play on a console while you pick up your phone or tablet and jump in with them with Project xCloud. It eliminates the requirement of you requiring access to a physical console or a TV and you can play your favorite game just about anywhere you go. Microsoft is currently offering the first month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for just $1 and then it will cost you $14.99 every month.
