Microsoft Showcases Project xCloud in Action During Inside Xbox

Microsoft held its latest Inside Xbox yesterday and it had some really cool announcements for this episode. They included the new Phantom White controller and the reveal of Halo: The Master Chief Collection for PC. Along with these announcements, Microsoft finally showed their Project xCloud in action which fans were eagerly waiting for a long time.

During the Inside Xbox presentation, the xCloud demo showed a Xbox One controller connected to a cell phone and it was running Forza Horizon 4 without any problems. The demo was flawless and it seems that the service is coming up to be excellent. The gameplay was smooth and the visuals were impressive too.

If you are not aware about Project xCloud then you should you know that Microsoft is planning to release its own video game streaming service dubbed Project xCloud and it will allow players to play their favorite game no wonder where you are. The demo was shown on a cell phone and it was flawless which shows that it will be a very stable service when it comes out.

You can see in the demo that the game is running flawlessly with the Xbox One controller connected to the mobile device. This can really change the entire video game experience and will bring a new meaning to portable video gaming. During the demo, Kareem Choudhry said

We’re developing Project xCloud not as a replacement for game consoles, but as a way to provide the same choice and versatility that lovers of music and video enjoy today. We’re adding more ways to play Xbox games. We love what’s possible when a console is connected to a 4K TV with full HDR support and surround sound – that remains a fantastic way to experience console gaming. We also believe in empowering gamers to decide when and how to play.

Fans looking forward to Project xCloud will be glad to know that Microsoft is planning to start tests for the project later this year. More details will be shared in the coming months about the tests and we are sure that we will be seeing more of Project xCloud on E3 later this year.
