As part of the latest update, you will be able to explore six new crossover maps coming to Mini Metro and Mini Motorways with three arriving at each destination. Inspired by the maps of Mini Metro, the new maps will be available in Mini Motorways for the very first time and players will be able to enjoy the highly anticipated streets of London and the busy boulevards of Mumbai. All players who participated in Dinosaur Polo Club’s fan-voted map competition earlier this year will also enjoy the player-voted map, New York City, coming to Mini Motorways as part of the celebratory update.

Each of the new maps added to the game will also bring new challenges and strategies. The new Mini Motorways maps feature train stations as new building types that operate along existing railway routes, both of which impact the flow of traffic. You can navigate these new obstacles as trains intersect the bustling city traffic presenting a new perspective on the gameplay. If you are a Mini Metro player, you will be happy to know that three Mini Motorways maps are also finding their way into Mini Metro. These new maps bring along a modern splash of color, and players can get excited about the addition of Tokyo, Warsaw, and Lisbon.

The all-new photo mode will give you new ways to capture your favorite moments in the game as it comes with the ability to export pictures of metro networks in decorative frames, inspired by the photo modes found in Mini Motorways. Robert Curry, co-founder, and game designer at Dinosaur Polo Club comments:

Ten years ago when the first version of Mini Metro resonated with people, we knew we’d discovered something special. We’ve always thought of ourselves as curators, rather than creators, of the Mini space, and this special Miniversary update is a continuation of that philosophy. Bringing together elements from both titles is our way of celebrating the first ten years, looking forward to the next ten, and saying thank you to our community for being a part of this journey with us. We couldn’t do this without you and besides, we wouldn’t want to.

If you are playing both Mini Metro and Mini Motorways, you will be happy to know that all six maps are now available across all current platforms. Mini Motorways is currently available on Apple Arcade, Nintendo Switch, and PC and Mac via Steam while Mini Metro is currently available on Mobile, Nintendo Switch, and PC and Mac via Steam. Currently, there is a 50% discount at Mini Metro and a 25% discount at Mini Motorways.
