Publisher Modus Games and developer Reply Game Studios have announced their brand-new project, action game Soulstice during the PC Game Show at E3 2021. Soulstice is an explosive, high-energy action game that offers an innovating dual character setup. The game encourages you to dominate the battlefield, unleash powerful attacks, and combine the unique strengths of sisters Briar and Lute.
During the event, the publisher showcased a teaser trailer for the game that showcased the sheer power of duo Briar and Lute along with the challenges that they will face as their world hangs on the brink of collapse. The game premise is described as:
The Chimeras are hybrid warriors, forged from the union of two souls. They are the only ones who can oppose the Wraiths, ravenous creatures borne of Chaos itself. Both voiced by Stefanie Joosten (Metal Gear Solid V), Briar and Lute are two sisters who were turned into a Chimera: Briar gained superhuman abilities, but Lute was sacrificed to become her Shade, a spirit with mystical powers. When the city of Ilden falls to the invasion of the Wraiths, the two sisters are sent on a mission to reclaim it. Only by utilizing the abilities of both characters will players unlock their full potential and stop the invasion before it’s too late.

The game will offer a deep combat system with combos, multiple weapons, and many customization options. Briar and Lute will have an endless array of methods to take down enemies as they explore Ilden and face new threats at every corner of the game. A confirmed release date for the game is not known at this point however the game will release in 2022 on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC in 2022.
