Monster Crown Beats Its Kickstarter Record in Just 72 Hours of its Early Access Release

Monster Crown Content Update

Studio Aurum and SOEDESCO released Monster Crown recently and the game is an instant hit on Steam. This can be seen by the fact that Monster Crown has already passed its Kickstarter goal in just 72 hours of its Early Access release on Steam. The Kickstarter campaign for Monster Crown was released back in 2018 and it ran for a month and reached 9 times its initial goal. The game has surpassed this amount in just three days of its Early Access release.

The game has been developed by Jason Walsh who is the founder of Studio Aurum and he has been working on the game for quite a long time. The game Monster Crown is inspired by the early-gen Pokemon titles which the developer played back in the days. Monster Crown while may have taken its inspiration from elsewhere but it brings its own unique formula and breeding mechanic into the game which really sets the game apart from any other game of its kind.

Jason Walsh comments:

This game is truly a dream come true. I’ve been working on it for over 4 years and to see that the game is already so well received, really touches me.

At this time, Monster Crown is sitting at an 89% ‘very positive’ rating on Steam and fans are loving the game so far. You should also keep in mind that the game is still in development and the full release will be even better than the current version of the game. During its Early Access phase, the developer will gain fans’ feedback and use that to further fine-tune the game and make it better.

We recently previewed the Early Access version of the game and we really liked the concept of Monster Crown. Make sure that you check out the game on Steam as well.
