NACON and RaceWard Studios have announced their brand-new motorbike racing game RiMS Racing that features a unique concept of combining mechanics and riding. RiMS Racing is the second of NACON’s list of new racing title announcements that comes after the recent unveiling of WRC 10 earlier this week. NACON is starting its own library of racing titles and has released quite a lot of decent titles in the previous years.
RiMS Racing takes a brand-new approach to motorbike racing as it treats mechanics as a central part of the game. It is a simulation motorbike racing game where you will need both engineering and riding skills to take the win. The game features an innovative mechanics management system where you can optimize every part of your bike down to the smallest component. You will have over 500 spare parts for your bike and more than 200 official equipment items for the rider for the ultimate personal bike racing experience.
The game will allow you to analyze the behavior of your motorcycle in real-time to optimize your setup. These options will include things like brake disc temperature and tire pressure to suspension behavior and electronics. This makes RiMS Racing an ultra-realistic racing title with precise physics that recreates every single hazard faced by a real racer in the real life. The game begins with you choosing a motorcycle from eight of the most powerful European and Japanese brands.
These bikes have been created with unparalleled accuracy with tight collaboration with their manufacturers. The announcement video above features the MV Augusta F4 RC and all of its components from real life. It features a four-cylinder engine with over 200 HP fitted with Ohlins TTX 36 shock absorber, Brembo radial braking system, and fairing made primarily of carbon fiber. All of the components have been painstakingly detailed in RiMS Racing as accurately as possible.
Another fan-favorite bike included in the game is the Ducati Panigale V4 R which features the same treatment as detailed for the MV Augusta F4 RC. Apart from the bikes, the game will also feature some of the best circuits from around the world including Silverstone Circuit, WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, Suzuka Circuit, Nürburgring GP Track, Circuit Paul Ricard, and more. The game features 10 official circuits apart from five road routes set in United States, Norway, Australia, Spain, and Italy.
RiMS Racing is slated for release on August 19, 2021, on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch. You can add the game to your Steam wishlist right now as the official Steam page for the game is now live.
