MSI has unveiled the GE76 Raider and Dragon Edition Tiamat laptops which are inspired by dragons and mythical creatures. MSI unveiled a range of laptops at their “MSlology” virtual event. All the new laptops will be powered by the latest NVIDIA RTX 3000 series mobile graphic cards featuring up to an RTX 3080.
MSI has configured the fastest graphics for laptops of early 2021 in its GE, GS, GP, and GF series. Complemented with an MSI laptop, the GPU performance can have its full gameplay for a cinematic gaming experience.
MSI collaborates with Intel and NVIDIA, adapting the “Resizable Bar technology”, the technique which enables the CPU to have full access to GPU memory and boost the frame-per-second (FPS) by 5%-10% to advance gaming to the next level.

The MSI GE76 Raider Dragon Edition Tiamat gaming laptop is the flagship release from MSI and features the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 graphics, Intel Core i9 Processors and introduces the latest Wi-Fi 6E, which is the first in the industry, to help laptops take advantage of the additional connectivity.
The GE series laptops are equipped with MSI Cooler Boost 5, consisting of 6 heat pipes with 2 fans, driving more airflow to quickly cool the laptop down. The GE76 Raider and Dragon Edition Tiamat can be configured with up to an Intel i9-10980HK processor. For graphics, consumers can choose from the RTX 3080 or 3070 mobile GPU.
The laptop has 3 different screen options:
- 17.3″ UHD (3840×2160), 100% Adobe RGB(Typical), IPS-level thin bezel
- 17.3″ Full HD (1920×1080), 300 Hz Refresh Rate, IPS-Level thin bezel
- 17.3″ Full HD (1920×1080), 240 Hz Refresh Rate, IPS-Level thin bezel
