NACON and Eko Software have revealed their brand new sports game Handball 21 with a new teaser trailer slated to release this November on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Handball is a sport that boasts over 27 million sports federation members worldwide and now thanks to NACON and Eko Software, fans of the sport will be able to play it in their homes on their favorite consoles.
Eko Software is returning to the franchise after four, long years as it builds on the studio’s experience in sports games. Handball 21 is coming straight from in-depth discussions with the fan community and input from Handball experts. The developer states that Handball 21 is going to be the most ultra-realistic virtual adaptation of the sport ever captured in any video game. The game will feature new animations, enhanced AI, new game modes, and even more official content than ever.

Key features of Handball 21 include:
- Extensive officially licensed content: Handball 21 includes the four major European leagues and several second division leagues, for a total of 1,600 handball players represented in the game. Play as some of the world’s top players, such as Nikola Karabatic, Valero Rivera, and Melvyn Richardson.
- New game modes: Solo, multiplayer, local and online – Handball 21 also features new game modes such as League Mode, in which you follow the career of a player and manage his team. In Solo Mode, you can create your own team, recruit players, and enter tournaments.
- Deeper and improved gameplay: Players can enjoy new game options such as defense tactics, custom set plays, and redesigned AI.
- A faithful and realistic simulation: The stadiums have been recreated from the ground up, while the players’ 3D models and animations are more realistic thanks to motion capture.
