Developer and publisher iRacing has unveiled new career mode details about NASCAR 25, the upcoming flagship title in the NASCAR gaming series. A newly released developer diary video offers an in-depth look at the game’s all-new Career Mode, featuring insights from Executive Producer and racing icon Dale Earnhardt Jr., reigning NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Champion Ty Majeski, and members of the development team.
For the first time, NASCAR 25 will include all four premier NASCAR series: the Cup Series, Xfinity Series, Craftsman Truck Series, and the ARCA Menards Series, marking ARCA’s standalone debut in a NASCAR game. These series will be fully integrated into Career Mode and other gameplay modes such as quick races, full seasons, and online multiplayer, offering a comprehensive NASCAR experience.

Career Mode begins in a small garage, where you will customize your car and take your first steps in the ARCA Menards Series. As you progress, you will work your way up through the ranks, refining your skills and proving yourself on the track. However, success in NASCAR 25 extends beyond racing—you must also negotiate contracts, manage finances, hire staff, expand your team’s facilities, and engage with the public to build your reputation. Off-track decisions will have a significant impact on a driver’s career trajectory, making strategic choices as important as performance on the speedway. The game also enhances the racing experience by deepening interactions with the crew chief and spotter, adding another layer of realism.
NASCAR 25 marks iRacing’s first standalone NASCAR console title, bringing the company’s expertise in motorsport simulation to the franchise. The development team includes veterans who previously worked on some of the most beloved NASCAR games, such as NASCAR Racing 2003, NASCAR: Dirt to Daytona, and the NASCAR Thunder series. With decades of experience in creating authentic racing experiences, iRacing aims to deliver a title that captures the intensity and strategy of professional stock car racing.
Founded in 2003, iRacing has established itself as the leader in online racing simulation, forming partnerships with major motorsport organizations such as NASCAR, INDYCAR, and FIA. The company is responsible for some of the most realistic racing experiences available and is now expanding its reach into console gaming. With NASCAR 25, iRacing looks to set a new standard for NASCAR games, blending deep career progression with the high-speed thrills of professional racing.
NASCAR 25 is slated for release on PC and consoles this fall and additional details about the game will be announced later. NASCAR 25 is being developed by iRacing, and it will be their first standalone NASCAR title for consoles and PC.
