Nefarious Juggernaut in Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart

This guide will show you how to beat Nefarious Juggernaut in Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. This boss shows up when you are in the last stages of the story in the Nefarious City.

Nefarious Juggernaut is a giant boss that comes in a big mech machine equipped with deadly missiles and attacks ready to destroy you. However, you can pretty easily defeat this boss if you can anticipate the boss’s attacks and know when to counter-attack.

How to Beat Nefarious Juggernaut in Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart

When you first begin the boss fight, Nefarious Juggernaut will introduce its attacks with the blue missiles that it sends to your location. These missiles are indicated by the ground with a red marker showing where they are about to land after being fired. These can easily be avoided using your Phantom Dash ability to steer clear where the missiles are going to land.

The second attack is the laser beam, which works much like the one Dr Nefarious uses in the Prologue of the game. With the same strategy, you can simply double jump over the laser beam to avoid it, while continuing your attacks when you land.

A good way to always be in control is to keep moving. This because the boss will occasionally leap up in the air and smash on the ground to crush you. Being on the move or Phantom Dashing in the last second will always guarantee you never get caught up with this attack.

In the second phase of the battle when the fight ensues in the next place, you will find a tighter battle area especially when the boss attacks with the laser beam. Your strategy should remain the same as the attacks in this new phase are similar to the ones the boss started with. Be on the move, anticipate the Juggernaut’s attacks, and counter after the boss misses you with a big attack.
