Ubisoft has released a brand new trailer for the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Valhalla that features Eivor and his story in the game. The action-packed trailer features brand new gameplay and cinematic footage from the game and shows how difficult Eivor’s journey is going to be in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla when the game releases later this year.

Eivor is a Norse Viking raider who has been driven from Norway by wars and dwindling resources and now gathers their clan. Eivor sets sail to England along with their clan looking for a new home however the expedition faces strong resistance in England. Eivor is not only forced to fight the enemies in battle but also internal conflicts in the clan to ensure that the clan survives and attains the glory. Eivor will have to sacrifice everything dear to them. The trailer certainly shows that Eivor’s past is also a mysterious one.

Apart from the new trailer, Ubisoft has also announced that starting from today, fans of the franchise will be able to listen to a seven-song EP that has been taken from the official soundtrack of the game. It features original compositions from Jesper Kyd and Sarah Schachner as well as the original song by Einar Selvik. The Ep is available to listen on Spotify and purchase on iTunes.

Recently, Ubisoft held its very first digital conference Ubisoft Forward during which we saw detailed gameplay from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. The new trailer also revealed the release date of the game and now we know that it is slated for release on November 17, 2020, on Xbox One, PC via Epic Games Store and Uplay and PS4. Players of Google Stadia will receive the game on the same date. After the initial release, the game will also arrive on Xbox Series X and PS5 when the consoles are released in Holiday 2020.
