A new tournament-style map called the Hippodrome is set in the Tenosian faction setting and designed with mounted horse combat in mind, new Tenosian-inspired weapon called the Katar, a new winter-themed biome featuring snow and ice, and cross-play party social support, a feature that was highly requested by the community.

All of these features are going to expand the scope of Chivalry 2 for 2022 and beyond.

If you haven’t played Chivalry 2, it is a first-person multiplayer slasher inspired by epic medieval movie battles. You will be thrust into the action of every iconic moment of the era – from clashing swords to storms of flaming arrows, to sprawling castle sieges, and more.

There is a fully featured mounted combat system as well, that will make you feel as if you are fighting atop a thousand-pound beast of war, including the ability to trample your foes, land devastating front or rear horse kicks, unhorse your opponent with a lance and engage in deep melee combat with grounded or mounted opponents
