JDM: Rise of the Scorpion Update

Developer Gaming Factory and publisher 4Divinity have announced a major content update for JDM: Rise of the Scorpion, the free prologue to the upcoming JDM: Japanese Drift Master. This latest update introduces several new features and improvements aimed at enhancing the player experience and setting the stage for future developments in the game.

Starting with the first major addition to the game, you now have access to online leaderboards in Challenge Mode. You can now track your performance and compete for top positions in both grip and drift challenges. The leaderboards also offer detailed stats, including car choices and assist settings, allowing you to refine your strategies as they aim for higher rankings.

The update also introduces three new iconic cars to the Challenge Mode roster: the Mazda RX8, Mazda MX-5 (NA), and Subaru BRZ II. These fan-favorite vehicles will give you new options to explore and master on the track, adding variety to the game’s already exciting line-up of cars.

JDM: Rise of the Scorpion Update

In addition to new content, JDM: Rise of the Scorpion now supports additional devices. The update includes new input presets for the Moza R5 Steering Wheel, as well as support for the HGP Shifter and HBP Handbrake. This enhanced compatibility ensures that you are using advanced setups and will enjoy a more immersive and responsive driving experience.

The content update also brings a series of bug fixes and gameplay tweaks. Improvements to device compatibility, such as seamless input swapping and smoother menu navigation for steering wheel users, make the game more accessible. Moreover, the driving physics and suspension systems have been fine-tuned, offering a more realistic and satisfying racing experience.

JDM: Rise of the Scorpion Update

JDM: Rise of the Scorpion is available on PC via Steam for free to play and get involved with the game until its full release. The full version of the game is called JDM: Japanese Drift Master and it will be released sometime later this year.
