Modus Games, Dreams Uncorporated and SYCK have released a brand-new video for their upcoming title Cris Tales that showcases the game’s world. Cris Tales features a beautiful and reactive world and players will have an immense influence over it. Cris Tales is heavily-inspired by classic JRPGs and is slated for release on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC in 2021. The game will also receive a physical release that will include a bonus game art poster featuring the game’s key art.
The new video showcases the protagonist Crisbell as she discovers her incredible ability to observe and manipulate past and future visions of her surroundings at any time. Crisbell an amphibian ally with her that will help her shape a brighter future changing both the lives of those around her as well as the wider world she lives in. The video also gives us our first look at the game’s Synchro system in combat which allows team members to combine their skills for powerful results.

Cris Tales is a JRPG that allows you to fight and explore the past, present, and future simultaneously. You will need to use these eras strategically which will grant you massive in-battle advantages however the effects of your decisions will cause a ripple across the entire hand-drawn 2D world, giving players true control over their story and which ending they can unlock at the end of their journey.
Pre-orders for Cris Tales are now live and physical copies of the game will also include a bonus poster for everyone featuring the key art of the game. A free demo is now of Cris Tales over at Xbox Store, PlayStation Store, Nintendo eShop, Steam, and GOG.
