New Days Gone Trailer Shows The Vast Open World of the Game

Days Gone Infestations Locations Guide

Sony has dropped a new trailer for Days Gone which shows the vast open and brutal world of Days Gone and also explains why you should not explore the world. The trailer narrates useful things about each different type of the region in the game.

The world of Days Gone is absolutely gorgeous and diversified. You will explore valleys, rivers and waterfalls and snow covered mountains in the game. The land is also scarred by extreme volcanic activity making it even more harsh to explore. There are also lava fields and caves in the game.

Throughout the world, players will come across different enemy outposts and each of them is unique. This encourages players to change their tactics for every encounter. The map also has its fair share of dense forests and winding trails in valleys and mountains which will really test the mettle of the players.

According to the trailer, the world of Days Gone is divided into six different regions where each region will offer you unique challenges to overcome. These regions are separated by blocked tunnels, abandoned checkpoints and survival camps. You will need to work before you can access new regions in the game.

The map is also littered with abandoned truck stops, small towns and infested logging camps where players will scavenge for supplies and try to evade freakers who litter such places. Every corner will hide an ambush and every locked door will hold a secret for players to explore.

The trailer also mentions about mass burial sites in the game which has tons of corpses lying around and have become the feeding grounds for freakers. Normally, anyone would stay away from such locations but not us, obviously we will go to such places and engage in huge explosive fights with the freakers.

According to the trailer, the weather in Days Gone will also play an important role. The harsh weather, whether it is rain or snow in the mountains, will further make the freakers harder and stronger. Everything is against you in Days Gone so you will be required to explore the world at your own risk.

Check out the trailer below.

Players will have the freedom to explore the world on foot or on their trusty motorcycle which will make traversing the deadly terrain much easier. However, danger still lurks and players will need to be very smart while driving through hordes of freakers. You can explore the world of Days Gone at your own peril because you are not a tourist here.

Days Gone is coming out exclusively on PS4 on April 26, 2019.
