Zordix Racing Development has released a brand new trailer for their upcoming title offroad simulation title Overpass which showcases never before seen gameplay features of the title. The new trailer is narrated by the Zordix Racing Development Director Joakmin Eriksson who details all the brand gameplay features of Overpass.
Eriksson details that every time players start a new race, they will need to explore the track completely. It will help them understand the track and get familiar with the terrain and all the traps they will be required to overcome in the game. Once the players have familiarized themselves with the track, they will be able to complete it as fast as they can.
Since Overpass is an offroad sim and not just a simple arcade title, players will need a good balance between throttle and braking to ensure that their vehicle has just enough momentum to overcome the obstacles and not get stuck. Pushing too much will cause you to spin your wheels and getting stuck on steep climbs while pushing too much might cause you to overshoot and end up crashing your vehicle.
Check out the new gameplay trailer for Overpass below.
Driving with extreme precision and good use of the differential will allow you to complete the tracks easily without losing any precious seconds. Some of the sections in stages will be extremely difficult and players will have to balance between careful driving and pushing it to the extreme. The game features a variety of different terrains and features 23 officially licensed vehicles that the players will use to navigate through them.
In the video above, you can see Eriksson driving Wildcat Sport LTD which is manufactured by Arctic Cat. You can check out how the vehicle responds to different terrains and how you will need to use precision and control to overcome different types of obstacles the game throws at you. Without tackling these challenges, you will not be able to reach the end of the stage.
Pre-orders for Overpass are now live and you can head to the official website of Overpass if you want to pre-order the game. Overpass is slated for release on Nintendo Switch, PC, Xbox One and PS4 on February 27, 2020.
