Chris, who is an enthusiast arts-lover with a strong passion for cinema and video games, took his inspiration for Remothered: Tormented Fathers from a large number of movies and video games. Movies such as Psycho by Alfred Hitchcock and The Shining by Stanley Kubrick inspired him deeply along with video games such as Silent Hill by Keiichiro Toyama also left a big impression on him.
From a very young age, Chris was highly intrigued by animated movies and the process that goes behind creating these animated movies. All of this combined to get him motivated and making his very own critically acclaimed survival horror game. Chris also notes that Remothered: Tormented Fathers is more than just a horror title. It also touches many other subjects such as the fear of being along, identity struggles and contradictory relation between science and religion.
