As you can see from the trailer above, the game looks absolutely gorgeous and we are in love with the multi-dimensional hopping. As the trailer shows, each location is varied and completely different from the other ones in the game. Dr. Nefarious is back in action and this time around, he has shifted Ratchet and Clank to a dimension where he always wins. However, as they arrive there, they meet another rebellious Lombax known as Rivet. Rivet is a resistance fighter and she is fighting against the rule of Dr. Nefarious.
The trailer showcases Nefarious City which is a brand-new location featured in the game along with some previous locations with a new alternate-dimension twist such as Sargasso and Torren IV are also making a comeback in the game. The game will also feature new weapons and gameplay mechanics combined with some old weapons and mechanics that are franchise favorites. The game’s soundtrack has been composed by Mark Mothersbaugh who is the co-founder of the band DEVO.
Insomniac Games has shared some of the soundtrack samples on its official blog as well so if you want to give them a listen, you can head over there and give them a shot.
