New Stash UI is Now Live in Blackout along with Nerfed Concussion Grenades

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

Treyarch has released the first major update for Call of Duty Black Ops 4 in this year and it introduces the much-awaited new Stash UI in Blackout along with many other changes such as nerfed Concussion Grenades and a new Zombie mode event.

The latest patch released for consoles is V1.11 and it is currently only out for PS4 and Xbox One. The PC patch will arrive later in the week. The main highlight of this update is the new stash UI which was announced some time ago to arrive in the new update.

The new design eliminates the initial complex stash UI and introduces a much fresh looking and easier to use stash UI which will allow players to use it more effectively even in combat scenarios. The background is no longer blocked out and players can also see more items in the same screen thanks to a grid icon based UI.

More changes in Blackout include the nerfing of the concussion grenade. This was a very strong grenade in the game and players were not happy with how powerful it was. After much fan feedback and outcry, Treyarch has nerfed the concussion grenade and players will only be able to have one in their inventory in the same slot at one time.

The new update is also bringing the 115 Day Celebrations event to the Zombies mode which will allow all players to earn double XP and double weapon XP during its duration. Players will also earn double Nebulium Plasma while this event is active. The Unsinkable Gauntlet for Voyage of Despair map has also arrived although it is first available for PS4 players only.

The Unsinkable Gantlet is a mode which has 30 rounds and each round will offer a unique challenge to players to complete. If a player fails a challenge three times, they are eliminated from the game. Players can also check their rankings in leaderboards to keep the challenge up.

A limited time mode called Down but not Out is also coming to Blackout later this week. This is exclusive to four player based team games and it will allow players to revive their fallen friends every time the playable area shrinks hence the name of the mode. It will be added later this week to Blackout after the update is out.

The new update 1.11 is now live for Call of Duty Black Ops 4 across PS4 and Xbox One.
