Modus Games Reveals New Trailer for its Upcoming JRPG Cris Tales

Publisher Modus Games and has released a brand new trailer for its upcoming highly-anticipated JRPG Cris Tales revealing two new characters from the game. The game is also now available for pre-order. The new trailer is narrated by the steel-willed protagonist Crisbell and dives deep into her motivations and reveals the catalyst that sets her onto her time-altering quest to save the world from tyranny.

Alongside the new gameplay footage showcasing the game’s beautiful environments, the trailer also reveals the all-new fast-paced explosive combat scenes as players get a glimpse of two new members of Crisbell’s party, JKR-721, and Zas. Further details about the two new characters will be shared in the coming days. Cris Tales is a classically inspired JRPG where past, present, and future and brought together on one screen. Players can use Crisbell’s ability to slip between time periods, aiding citizens across Crystallis’ kingdoms, and pushing enemies to specific points in time for an upper hand in battle. Ever since the game’s release since E3 2019, the game has been highly anticipated.

It has won several accolades and nominations including Best Indie Game. A free demo for the game is now available and you can download the free demo on the platform of your choice including Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam or GoG. The free demo offers a small taste of the full game which is slated for release later this year on November 17, 2020. The game will also release on Google Stadia, PS5 and Xbox Series X this holiday season. Pre-orders are now live on the official website.
