SNK has released a new trailer of Samurai Shodown featuring Nakoruru as one of the playable fighters in the game. Nakoruru is a female fighter that comes with an eagle companion to fight against the enemies.

The video trailer highlights Nakoruru in all her glory, as well as some of the moves her hawk Mamahaha can help her perform. Though Nakoruru may look innocent, don’t let that fool you. She is capable of dealing serious damage either alone or with the help of her faithful sidekick.

Young, fast, and deadly Nakoruru can take to the skies or even reflect attacks from her enemies. The young Kamui warrior Nakoruru, a long-running staple of the Samurai Shodown universe, is here to show you her nature-inspired move set along with the help of her trusty pet hawk Mamahaha. Nakoruru will do anything to protect her beloved Mother Nature, and that includes death for those who dishonor her.

Samurai Shodown is being developed by SNK and is a new version of it. it is being developed by the same team that worked on King of Fighters XIV. The game comes packed with various game modes, including a Practice, Story, Online Battle and Offline Battle options if you are interested in that.

The game will also feature a special new asynchronous online mode called Dojo that will use machine learning to create a new avatar. This avatar that learns from player actions offline and uses it for a Ghost AI fighter. This Ghost will then be uploaded to take on other challengers, as other players will be able to do as well. You can fight Ghosts in 1v1 battle, or go for the Ironman Challenge to defeat 100 in one sitting.

Samurai Shodown is set to release on June 27 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A PC and a Nintendo Switch version of the game will come sometime later, though a release date have not been confirmed as of yet
