New World Best Weapons Combo Guide
There are three different weapon combos that you have at your disposal, where you can equip each of the two weapon slots with two different types of weapons and experiment with what best suits your playstyle. Weapons also have passive abilities that help you even more in combat.
Weapons Combo 1
- Musket
- Rapier
The Rapier is a Bleed ability weapon that leaves a status effect on a target, making them even more weaker as you fight. On the other hand, pairing it with the Musket will increase your damage on targets that are low on health, complimenting Rapier’s Bleed ability as you fight an enemy.

- Hatchet

- Ice Gauntlet
- War Hammer
Both the War Hammer and Ice Gauntlet are a very strong combo of weapons that lets you deal massive amounts of damage to targets and also slows the enemies down, allowing for a sweet and powerful War Hammer swing. The pairing is best for draining the enemy’s health enough to leave them vulnerable for the rest of the fight. In addition, the Ultimate Chill and Ice Storm abilities let you target opponents from a distance.
Weapons Combo 4
- Bow
- Rapier
One of the best weapon combos you can get your hands on are the Rapier and the Bow. Both these weapons deal high damage but allow a lot of options in attacking paired with the abilities. Moving around to get close and then backing off to attack from long range is what makes this weapon combo pretty attractive.
Best Armor
Regardless of what weapon you go for, your armor and attributes will ultimately boil down to your playstyle. Having said that, there are three different categories of armor ranging from Light, Medium, and Heavy. As you can guess, the Lighter the armor the more movement you will have at the cost of being vulnerable.
Heavy armor makes you absorb attacks but slows you down enough to make things really spicy in tough situations. This is where you can balance things out to go for medium armor giving you the ability to dodge most attacks and protect yourself enough to stay in the fight.
