Nintendo Announces Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Nintendo Direct – Final Direct Before Launch

Nintendo has announced a final direct event of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. There will be a Nintendo Treehouse: Live Presentation on Thursday, November 1 at 7am PT/10am ET/2pm BST.

The announcement was revealed in ‘Nintendo of America’ twitter post. Also, the presentation will take roughly 40 minutes of new information on the game. The presentation will be hosted by game director Masahiro Sakurai.

After the direct event of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the show will also be followed by Nintendo Treehouse: Live presentation. It will showcase more information on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Yoshi’s Crafted World, Diablo III: Eternal Collection and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee!.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate releases December 7, 2018 exclusively on Nintendo Switch. So far, first 40 character are revealed in the game. An image on Reddit reveals the first 40 characters in the game.

Reddit user DustENation revealed the image, which shows 8 new-coming characters from each of the previous Smash games. It clearly looks like Nintendo intends to bring in all of the Smash characters related to the game, rather than venturing into bringing new characters from other games.

Super Smash Bros. was the first to come in this series back in 1999, this title set the tone for the game that is beloved to many players and has continued to be successful series in the Nintendo world.

However, in 2008, Super Smash Bros. Brawl was the first to bring third party characters like Snake from Metal Gear Solid and Sonic the Hedgehog from Sega. From there, Nintendo realized the popularity of these crossover characters as it soon added Cloud from Final Fantasy and Simon and Richter Belmont from Castlevania of Konami.
