Nintendo just streamed its Nintendo Indie World Showcase which featured several indie games planned for the Nintendo Switch console. The latest showcase featured some big titles along with other indie games that will be heading to your console pretty soon. On the other hand, some of the titles are already available today.
Let’s take a look at all the titles that were shown at the event:
Hades
the first game shown at the Nintendo Indie World Showcase was Hades, which is a god-like rogue-like dungeon crawler that combines the best aspects of Supergiant’s critically acclaimed titles, including the fast-paced action of Bastion, the rich atmosphere and depth of Transistor, and the character-driven storytelling of Pyre.
Hypnospace Outlaw
Hypnospace Outlaw is a ’90s internet simulator in which you scour Hypnospace’s wide variety of weird and wonderful websites to hunt down wrongdoers, while also keeping an eye on your inbox, avoiding viruses and adware, and downloading a plethora of apps that may or may not be useful.
SpiritFarer
Spiritfarer is a cozy management game about dying. You play Stella, ferrymaster to the deceased, a Spiritfarer. Build a boat to explore the world, then befriend and care for spirits before finally releasing them into the afterlife
Garden Story
Garden Story is coming to Nintendo Switch in 2021. Unify a broken community as the newly-appointed Guardian of The Grove. Traverse a vibrant island to combat invasive Rot, inspire its inhabitants, and rebuild your home. You won’t have to do this alone: fruity friends await, ready to lend a hand!
Subnautica and Subnautica: Below Zero
Subnautica is an underwater adventure game set on an alien ocean planet. A massive, open world full of wonder and peril awaits you! Below Zero is an underwater adventure game set on an alien ocean world. It is a new chapter in the Subnautica universe and developed by Unknown Worlds.
Takeshie and Hiroshi
“Takeshi and Hiroshi” combines the two worlds of puppet animation and Role Playing Game. It tells the story of two brothers and their daily life. The 14-year-old Takeshi, a game designer to-be, is creating a game for his weak little brother Hiroshi who always wants to play the next chapter of the game as soon as possible.
Raji
Raji: An Ancient Epic is an action-adventure game set in ancient India. A young girl named Raji has been chosen by the gods to stand against the demonic invasion of the human realm.
Bear & Breakfast
Bear and Breakfast is a laid-back management adventure game where you play as a well-meaning bear trying to run a B+B in the woods
A Short Hike
Hike, climb, and soar through the peaceful mountainside landscapes of Hawk Peak Provincial Park. Follow the marked trails or explore the backcountry as you make your way to the summit. Along the way, meet other hikers, discover hidden treasures, and take in the world around you
Card Shark
A tale of deception throughout 18th Century Europe or the comprehensive catalogue of card tricks and other deceptions employed by the Comte de Saint Germain as described in “Mémoires Sans Parole.”
Torchlight III
In Torchlight III, Novastraia is again under threat of invasion and it’s up to you to defend against the Netherim and its allies.
Manifold Garden
Manifold Garden is a game that reimagines the laws of physics. Rediscover gravity and explore a beautiful Escher-esque world of impossible architecture. Geometry repeats infinitely in every direction, and falling down leads you back to where you started. Manipulate gravity to change your perspective and see the world in new ways. Master the rules of the universe and restore a barren world with vegetation and life.
Evergate
Wield your Soulflame, unleash extraordinary powers, and dive into the touching story of two kindred spirits. Guide the child-like soul Ki on a journey through the beautiful and haunting Afterlife in this unique 2D puzzle platformer.
Haven
A RPG adventure about love and freedom. To play solo or co-op with a special someone. Yu and Kay have escaped to a forgotten planet. Play the two lovers settling in an unknown world. Survive together, glide over the plains, camp, restore the planet, fight if you have to. All that matters is to stay together.
Going Under
Going Under is a satirical dungeon crawler about exploring the cursed ruins of failed tech startups. As an unpaid intern in the dystopian city of Neo-Cascadia, you’ll wield office junk as weaponry as you make your way through the offbeat procedural dungeons beneath your company campus.
The Red Lantern
Survive the Alaskan tundra in this story-driven, survival adventure game as you find your way home with your team of 5 sled dogs. The Red Lantern is set in Alaska, where you play as The Musher as she sets out to train a dog sledding team and start a new life. With your trusty crew of dogs, navigate the ever-changing landscape and events in the Alaskan wilderness as you find your way home.
Unrailed!
Unrailed! is a co-op multiplayer game where you work together with your friends to build a train track across endless procedurally generated worlds. Master random encounters with its inhabitants, upgrade your train and keep it from derailing!
Inmost
Discover the Darkness… Escape the depths of an otherworldly labyrinth, in this cinematic puzzle-platformer. Explore a hauntingly beautiful pixel art world, with three playable characters, in one dark, interconnected story. A knight adventures into the depths of a deteriorating castle. A child uncovers the past of an eerie house. A wanderer searches for answers.
She Dreams Elsewhere
She Dreams Elsewhere is a surreal adventure RPG about dreams and the extent to which they mirror reality. You play as Thalia, an anxiety-ridden, comatose woman on a journey to defeat the nightmares preventing her from awakening, while also finding out how exactly this mess happened in the first place.
Grindstone
Smash creeps to get huge combos and earn precious Grindstones in CAPY’s hit puzzle-battler. Cash in your grindstones to craft new gear and overcome devious enemies, obstacles, and boss encounters as you conquer Grindstone Mountain’s 200+ levels, and prove your prowess on the daily mode’s leaderboards.
Gonner2
In GONNER2, our altruistic and unexpected hero Ikk is back! And this time Death needs his help. Her lair has been taken over by a mysterious presence and she needs Ikk to take it down. Journey your way through deep dark chaotic places with sparks of unimaginable colour and crazy bosses, all while trying to literally keep your head!! GONNER 2 is a procedurally generated platformer with roguelike elements that will keep you on your toes – now with more added, colour and chaos!
Untitled Goose Game
Soon you’ll be able to enjoy Untitled Goose Game with a friend, in a new two-player cooperative mode. Play through the whole game as two horrible geese, honking twice as much, teaming up to plan pranks, and generally ruining everyone’s day, together.
