Observation is a New Sci-Fi Thriller Game Revealed by Stories Untold Developer

No code, a studio behind the 2017 hit; Stories Untold, has revealed a new Sci-fi game called Observation. The game will be published by Devolver Digital. This contemporary thriller lets players in a space station experience the mystery and events that unfold in the station. The trailer released teases some of the story that will be in the final product of the game.

Observation is speculated to be released sometime in the Spring of 2019 and will be available fr Playstation 4 and PC players.

The trailer shows a lot of harsh cuts through an unsettling, empty and damaged environment. The thriller component will likely come from the mystery that you are trying to uncover.

According to IGN, Observation will see the player taking control of SAM who is an onboard AI, and is assisting DR. Emma Fisher. SAM is essentially a disembodied intelligence, but can look through any of the station’s cameras, operate its various systems and take control of certain tools, all of which help players in exploring the station and solving puzzles to assist Dr. Fisher.

In the gameplay, you will be assisting Dr. Emma Fisher in trying to figure out what went wrong in the space station, what caused the damage and where the crew has disappeared. The gameplay will focus on puzzle solving in trying to uncover the mystery. There are also some scanned information about the space station that is available to you, signals and messages that can appear for you. There is also a small rogue signal that comes with a simple message for you that says “Bring Her”.

The trailer doesn’t give any more information, but we might see more details coming in the next days about the game and when it will have a confirmed release date.
