Cartoon Network has announced that SEGA’s Sonic the Hedgehog is making a guest appearance in a special episode of OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes. Sega’s iconic blue hedgehog will guest star in a special upcoming episode of the animated show where Sonic will team up with KO to save the day. The special episode is titled ‘Let’s Meet Sonic’.
If you don’t know what OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes is; it is an animated show which follows the adventures of KO who is an endlessly optimistic kid. He is always attempting to be the greatest hero he can be in a video game-inspired world set in Lakewood Plaza Turbo. The show is created by Ian Jones-Quartey and produced by Cartoon Network Studios.
OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes features a powerful punch of humor and action-filled with touching moments and heartwarming characters working together to build a strong community. In the show OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes, every person is a hero, every challenge makes you stronger and every success or failure is a stepping stone to becoming the ultimate hero.
This is the first time Sonic is making his debut in the animated show and he visits the plaza where he will eventually team up with KO to save the day just like always. Accompanying Sonic will be Tails who will also team up with Sonic and KO in their adventure. If you are a fan of Sonic, you will not want to miss this special episode of the show.
‘Let’s Meet Sonic’ will premiere on August 4, 2019, Sunday at 4:45 pm (ET/PT) on Cartoon Network. Fans of the show can also download the official Cartoon Network app and watch the show there.
