Okami Wins Second Guinness World Record – First One Was in 2010

Capcom game Okami is a gem of a time long gone. Okami originally released April 20, 2006, the game was later on remastered as HD release. Clover Studio developed the game, the studio is well known for amazing releases back in mid 2000s. Few of the famous mentions are: God Hand, Viewtiful Joe and its sequels.

Here at Comic-Con 2018 the game was once again announced to have won the Guinness World Record for ‘Most critically acclaimed video game starring an animal character’. The first Guinness World record Okami won was back in 2010 for ‘Least commercially successful winner of a Game of the Year award’.

Okami initially released in Japan only, exclusively on PlayStation 2. Later on it released on multi-platforms, like PlayStation 3, Wii, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC and Nintendo Switch.

Speaking of Comic Con, just few days back, McFarlane had announced Fortnite action figures lineup. Team Leader Cuddle was the first prototype they showcased at Comic Con. The action figure looked very much authentic and beautiful. The packaging also showed there will be few other props including the action figures. Those props can be guns or other Fortnite goodies.

There was no authentic release date for the action figures but McFarlane is making sure to release the action figures by the end of this year. For more on the story, check here.

Also, before Comic Con, Funko revealed 14 Funko Pop! figures on Fortnite theme. Two of them were Funko Pop! keychains. The goodies sure looked cute and adorable for a collection. Funko did not mention any release date, however, the website hints towards a November release date. For more on the story, check here.
