The much-awaited Chinese New Year update for Overcooked! 2 has arrived and it brings with it tons of new content which include new chefs, new levels and a brand new game mode.
This update was released a little while ago when Team 17 announced that in celebration of Chinese New Year, they are bringing an exclusive new update to Overcooked! 2 which will come packed with new content.

Just like the title of the update suggests, the new content revolves around Chinese New Year. The new recipes added to the game include Fruit Platter and Hot Pot. Along with these two new recipes, the game now has seven new kitchens.
Each kitchen comes with its own unique challenges for you to overcome. In addition to the new levels and recipes, Overcooked! 2 also has two new characters as well. One of the new characters is an ornate Chinese Dragon which is the most traditional Chinese thing eve while the second character is a pig which relates to Year of the pig.
Along with these new content additions, a new game mode has also been added to the title which is the Survival mode. You can play Survival on any level in the game and it really tests your cooking skills.
In this new mode, you must serve dishes to add more time to the overall counter. Each dish served to customers adds more seconds to your counter and ensures your survival in the game. Longer you manage to survive, higher your score will be.
