Developer Oisoi has announced that Painting VR is going to release with a multi-player system that will enable users to pain together and share their work. The game is said to be launching earlier next year on the official Oculus Store.
The game was launched in Early Access back in May of this year, and after three months, it had over 8,000 users from all over the world. The simulator merges several creation tools in one, where users can use it to create paintings, sketches, or graffiti in virtual reality. The game offers a realistic experience while making it easy to use and understand for all ages.

With the new multi-player system that Oisoi has added, the developer aims to bring users to the international art scene, It will provide a platform not only for self-expression but education as well: art teachers can use it to hold group classes or one-on-one lessons remotely.
Wim Reygaert, founder of Oisoi had this to say,
After the early access release of the game, Painting VR World started taking shape by itself immediately, in the form of our community on Discord. More and more people started showing their work, encouraged by the words, tips and tricks of others. Artists like Fora De Compasso (BR) used Painting VR to make art they successfully sold as NFT’s, others like Ese Wey (MEX) became overnight Tik Tok successes by sharing videos of their painting process. It’s only logical to bring all these people together now in virtual reality.
By implementing the multi-player system, users will not only be able to create and show their work but also to watch that of others, to play together, to learn together, and to share information, experience and inspiration amongst each other. And they’ll never have to worry about cleaning up afterwards.
As we approach next year, we might be getting more details about the multi-user system in Painting VR and how it really works. On the other hand, a demo version would also be fantastic for many fans curious of this new feature.
