Indie developer VaragtP has announced that its next project, the magical garden sandbox game Plantera 2: Golden Acorn will be released in April 2023. Plantera 2: Golden Acorn is a cute little game in which you must build and expand your garden to attract mellows for their help. Plantera 2: Golden Acorn is the second title by VaragtP and the first title Plantera was released back in 2016. In Plantera 2: Golden Acorn, the round blue Mellows are returning to the garden and this time around, there are rumors that the big magical oak tree has placed its seed there. Your goal in the game is to build and expand your garden to attract the Mellows who will then help you out. The Mellows pick up various things and also harvest your plants which results in the expansion of your garden. You will need to tend to the oak tree and grow it as big as possible so that it starts giving you Golden Acorns.
You can also decorate your garden with different decorations and watch your garden turn into a lush green scenery with plenty of plants, bushes, and trees. As you grow and expand your garden, new animals in the sea, ground, and sky will start populating it as well making the garden feel lively. While the Mellows can do most of the jobs, if you feel like it, you can harvest and plant new flora yourself as well in the game. Progression unlocks new items for you as you expand your garden and grow the magic oak higher.
