Following the leak of the name, Plants Vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville, we now have a leaked announcement trailer for the game as well. It turns out that the recent secret alpha event of the game turned out to be a massive leak fest for EA and we now have all sorts of information about the upcoming shooter in EA’s wacky franchise which started its life as a tower defense game.
The latest leak is in the form of a beta gameplay trailer sort of video in which we can see both in-game action and other cinematic bits where we get to see some of the returning as well as new characters from the upcoming game. We can see in the trailer a Ninja Mushroom as well as a Disco Zombie with a guitar and all. The game looks like its sticking to the Plants Vs. Zombies 2 formula while adding new bits and pieces to the game.
There is no official announcement about the game or the name of the title. We got to know about the title of the game when EA registered the European trademark ‘Plants Vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville’ just recently. Earlier we got to see some pictures of the game which were leaked by an Alpha tester and they showed the entire character lineup of both the plants and the zombies’ team along with the complete map of the game.
The trailer leaked above is not final and we can expect to see certain changes in the final version of the game. Some sequences do show in the trailer that the gameplay is still in early access. However, we are pretty sure that the character lineup is going to remain the same in the final game. We are expecting some announcements coming out from EA this coming Gamescom 2019.
