PlayStation Plus Games August

Sony has finally announced the games that will be available to the PlayStation Plus members for August, which include Sniper Elite 4 and Wipeout. If you are a PS Plus subscriber, you can claim both of these games for free anytime this month until September 2.

Now let us take a look at the games that Sony has chosen to give us this month. Sniper Elite 4 was released back in early 2017. The game features Karl Fairburne to fight with the Italian Resistance in Italy.

The tactical shooter has extensive missions that in large scale environments and open fields that are enough to give you a lot of ground to snipe from long distances. Not to forget one of the classic features of the game, which shows the trajectory of the bullets when it enters hits the enemy. From head splattering, headshots to slow-mo genital blowing scenes are very amusing. The game features a single-player campaign along with 4 player co-op experience with online multiplayer. The game costs $59.99 on the store but is free if you have PS Plus.

Discover unrivalled sniping freedom in the largest and most advanced World War 2 shooter ever built. Experience tactical third-person combat, gameplay choice and epic longshots across gigantic levels as you liberate wartime Italy from the grip of Fascism. Set in the aftermath of its award-winning predecessor, Sniper Elite 4 transports players across the beautiful Italian peninsula, from sun-drenched Mediterranean coastal towns, to ancient forests, mountain valleys and colossal Nazi megastructures.

Wipeout Omega Collection includes remastered versions of both Wipeout HD and Wipeout 2048. The game is a futuristic racing game, that is developed by EPOS Game studios. Wipeout has been a series that has been long-running in the world of PlayStation. The remastered versions will get players a taste of the classic game that used to run on PlayStation 3.

We have been able to take advantage of the power and memory bandwidth of PS4 to rework all textures in the game. Compared to the original games, textures are now clear when viewed up close: you can even read some of the small text on the ships for the first time. As well as a host of improved graphical effects we have also added in HDR which massively improves contrast to what was seen before.

Last month, Sony released Detroit Become Humans with Heavy Rain and Horizon Chase Turbo for July. If you haven’t claimed those games, you can do so before August 5th, before the August games start rolling into the store.
