In Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, you can find yourself and catch a Gible which is one of the best dragon-type Pokemon in the franchise. It evolves into Garchomp which is probably one of the favorite dragon-type Pokemon by a lot of players, so it makes it a highly sought-after Pokemon. In this Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl Gible Guide, we will guide you on how you can find and catch Gible in the game.
Gible Guide – Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl
To catch a Gible is however not an easy task, and you have to do some things before you can actually find and catch a Gible. This includes first obtaining the HM04 Strength as well.
Obtaining HM04 Strength
To unlock HM04 Strength, you must reach the top of the Lost Tower. If you are a Pokemon veteran, you would know that this tower is located between Solaceon Tower and Hearhtome. You can reach any of these places, heal up and then make your way towards the Lost Tower. Make sure that you heal completely because the Lost Tower is filled with wild Pokemon as well as rival trainers.
If you are missing a Gastly or Murkrow, you will find plenty of them inside along with tons of Zubat or Golbat. Keep fighting your way to the top and once you are at the top of the tower, you will find two old ladies. Speak with them both. The one on the left will give you strength while the one on the right will give you a Cleanse Tag.
Finding a Gible and Capturing It
After acquiring the Strength, your next goal is obtaining the Gible and then working on fixing it. To find the Gible, all you need to do is progress enough in the story to defeat Byron who is at the Canalave City Gym. Once you’ve beaten Byron, you will be able use Strength outside of combat as well. You need this skill to find and capture Gible. Once done, you are ready to go find your Gible.
Start by going to Route 206 near Cycling Road and turn right to find some trees. Chop down the trees and take the path that opens up behind them. When you see the cave on your right side, walk down the bridge on the left side and keep going against the back wall. Go left and you will find a hidden entrance to this Wayward Cave. You will need to use your Strength here to push the boulders out of the way and gain access to the cave.
Once this is done, this place will give you a 15% chance of encountering a Gible. If you do not encounter a Gible here, fill your Secret Base with Dragon statues and look for a Gible in the Hideaway biomes in the Grand Underground. Once you find a Gible and add it to your collection, you can start working your way towards evolving it into Garchomp.
Evolve Gible into Garchomp
To evolve your Gible into Garchomp, you need to reach level 48 which is quite high but considering the fact that Garchomp is a brilliant dragon-type Pokemon, this is completely worth the hassle. Other than the level requirement, there are no other requirements or special conditions required to evolve your Gible into Garchomp.
