Pawmi is a Pokémon found in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet that you can catch and evolve to its final form: Pawmot. The Pokémon has two evolutions where it first evolves into Pawmo from Pawmi, and then Pawmot from Pawmo. This guide will show you how to get and evolve Pawmi in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet.
How to Get and Evolve Pawmi in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
The first thing we need to do is to catch a Pawmi. This Pokémon will not come to you right from the beginning of the game, especially in the starting areas of the Paldea region, but you will eventually run into one. However, you can likely find a Pawmi on the Poco Path right as you exit from it. There are also chances that you might find a Pawmo in the wild, saving you time of leveling up a Pawmi.
This area will have a Pawmi ready for you to catch. Once you have caught a Pawmi, your next goal is to start evolving the Pokémon and to bring its final form. Pawmi will first need to be evolved to a Pawmo, which can be done by leveling up this Pokémon until it reaches Level 16.
How to Evolve Pawmo to Pawmot
Now that you have your Pawmo, you are one step closed to fully evolving this Pokémon into a Pawmot. But instead of leveling up this Pokémon, you are required an additional action before you can get a Pawmot.
To evolve a Pawmo into a Pamot, you need to use the Let’s Go feature, which allows you to walk your Pawmo around. The exact requirement asks for 1,000 steps before the Pawmo can evolve. The Let’s Go feature can easily be accessed by pressing the R button and strolling around with your Pokémon.
The game doesn’t let you track your steps, but 1,000 steps are not that big of a requirement and can be achieved in a matter of minutes. Once you have walked enough steps, the Pawmo will then evolve into a Pawmot, the Pokémon’s final form.
