There are certain ways you can increase the chances of finding a Shiny Pokémon. The first is the most obvious one, which is to battle and knock out the same type of Pokémon many times.
Another trick which increases your chances is by combo chaining. This means that you need to battle and knock out the same Pokémon consecutively. The more you knock out the same type of Pokémon, the higher your chances will be to find the next one to be a Shiny Pokémon.
To get the highest chance of getting a Shiny Pokémon, you need to battle the same type of Pokémon 25 times in a row. Start the battle, knock it out, and repeat the whole thing. At this point, it is not clear what can spoil the combo or what can reset the chances again. But to avoid any such thing, try not to evade the Pokémon when battling.
While this method gives you the best chance to get a Shiny Pokémon, there are more ways you can increase your chances by increasing eh total number of battles you have fought with the same Pokémon.
