Ubisoft has announced a brand new limited-time event in For Honor ‘Blades of Persia’ in which the Prince of Persia has arrived in the game. The limited-timed event will run all the way from March 12, 2020, to April 2, 2020, and For Honor will be transformed during these three weeks. During this event, you will be able to earn Prince of Persia themed items including a free event pass.
Blades of Persia will bring a new limited-time game mode along with a new quest for the Arcade mode of For Honor. The event starts following a sandstorm that has brought sand to the lands of Heathmoor. Along with the sand, comes Prince of Persia who wants his own claim to the throne in For Honor. He has also brought his army of sand creatures which you will face in the special limited-time game mode, Ruler of Time.
In this mode, heroes fight and defeat Prince of Persia and his sand creature minions in a variation of the Harbor Dominion map. During the match, the Prince will also emerge periodically from a sand tornado and try to kill any heroes that stand in his way with the legendary Dagger of Time. Along with the new mode, players will also get to see a brand new UI that has been reworked according to the theme of Prince of Persia universe.
The event also brings with it a variety of themed customization items which includes a free event pass. As part of the free event pass, players will have access to special 30 tiers of Prince of Persia themed gear and loot. These free tiers include a new Battle Outfit, Sand Mood Effect, Emblem Outline, and 26 new Ornaments along with Salvage Steel and Crates. The following is the items that are also available in the game during the event.
- 26 new weapons are lootable on the battlefield.
- Two illustrious outfits, Ratash and Sandwraith, are available via the in-game store for 20,000 Steel.
- The Prince’s own execution is available for purchase via the in-game store for 10,000 Steel.
The event will further change in the middle on March 19 when the Prince will embrace his evil roots and transform into the Dark Prince. When this happens, a brand new game mode will begin which will be revealed at a later date.
