Promare

Studio TRIGGER has announced that its first feature film Promare is hitting theatres next month on September 17 and 19, 2019. This is the first feature film by Studio TRIGGER and the director behind this movie is Hiroyuki Imaishi. Hiroyuki Imaishi is famous for his work on GURREN LAGANN and KILL la KILL.

Studio Trigger has many amazing projects under its belt such as the hit series KILL la KILL and Little Witch Academia. As revealed by the studio, Promare features a bold cel-shaded visual style to tell a blistering action-action story. The movie serves as a spiritual successor to many of Imaishi’s former works.

The movie’s plot is described as:

Thirty years has passed since the appearance of the Burnish, a race of flame-wielding mutant beings, who destroyed half of the world with fire.
