Sony has revealed the PS Plus titles for May 2021 and they include 1 PS5 and 2 PS4 titles. Overall, the month looks pretty balanced as you have a really good survival game, a carnage-filled racing game, and a really good shooter. All three titles are coming to PS Plus subscribers starting May 4, 2021. The three games for May 2021 include:
- Wreckfest (PS5 Release)
- Battlefield V (PS4)
- Stranded Deep (PS4)
Wreckfest is Bugbear Entertainment and THQ Nordic’s carnage-filled racing game which is based on Bugbear Entertainment’s long-running Flatout racing series. The game started its journey as an Early Access title however it quickly grew in population and turned out to be an absolute blast. Currently, it is available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC however in May, the game is getting a next-gen release for PS5, and PS Plus subscribers will be able to nab it at no additional cost.
Next, we have Battlefield V which is the latest release in the Battlefield franchise. It was received with a mixed reception when it launched and die-hard Battlefield fans were somewhat disappointed with the game as well. It is also the only Battlefield title to have its own Battle Royale mode called Firestorm well however it has since died in popularity. The game will include both its online and single-player experience when it comes to PS Plus next month.
Stranded Deep is the final title in May 2021’s PS Plus lineup and it is an open-world survival game. Your plane crashes in the Pacific Ocean and you are then stuck in the middle of the ocean with no means of calling for help. You will need to do everything you can to survive in the game and ensure that you build shelter, food and water resources, and different tools to help you survive in the game. The ocean is also filled with different dangerous creatures so you will need to fend them off as well.
With that being said, the current PS Plus lineup for April 2021 will remain live only until June 4 when they will be replaced with the new games so if you still have to add the previous titles to your lineup, you have a few days left to do so.
