Sony has officially revealed the PS Plus games for March 2021 and it turns out to be a very impressive lineup. Sony is again offering five games this month as Destruction AllStars is staying for another month so players who have not yet claimed the game yet can do so for another month. Apart from Destruction Allstars, for the month of March 2021, Sony is offering Final Fantasy Remake VII Remake, Remnant: From the Ashes, Maquette and Farpoint.
As you can see, we have two PS4 titles, one PS VR title, one new PS5 title, and one returning PS5 title from the last month. Starting with the first one, Final Fantasy VII Remake is the remake of one of the most iconic Final Fantasy titles ever made. It was released last year and features the first half of the original game. It features unforgettable characters, an amazing story, and epic battles. Players will get a chance this month to return to Midgard city as Cloud Strife with their PS Plus subscription.
This is the PS4 version of the game and it cannot be upgraded to the recently announced PS5 version of the title. You will need a retail version for the upgrade. Moving on, the second PS4 title coming this month is Remnant: From the Ashes which was released back in 2019. It is a great action-adventure game and is known for its amazing co-op. Your goal in the game is to venture into procedurally generated worlds alone or with a friend and look for supplies, mod your equipment to strengthen your chances of survival in the game.
Coming to the PS5 titles, Maquette is a puzzle game where you solve different puzzles by manipulating the landscape of a diorama while watching the changes mirrored in the life-sized version that surrounds you. It is a unique puzzle game and will offer a great chance to experience the new PS5’s Game Help feature since it supports. The second PS5 title is the last month’s action-packed release Destruction Allstars which is staying in the rotation for another month. Players can download and play this brand-new title as part of their subscription.
The final game is Farpoint which was released on PS VR back in 2017. Sony has been giving some free PS VR titles to PS Plus subscribers and it appears like this month, all PS VR players are getting a free title as well. The game features an arsenal of weapons that you use in order to survive on a hostile planet. Farpoint allows free-roaming and is played in first-person. The game is fully optimized for the PS VR controller however players can also play the game with a DualShock wireless controller.
You still have a little bit of time left to download the free February 2021 PS Plus titles before they are replaced by the new March 2021 PS Plus titles. All March 2021 PS Plus titles will remain available to players until April 5, 2021.
