With October almost over, Sony has revealed the PS Plus lineup of games for the month of November 2019 that players will be able to get next month. Although the list is now drastically small with only 2 PS4 games, it seems like this month is going to be a good one for PS Plus members as 2 heavy hitters are part of this month’s lineup.
The two titles included in this month’s PS Plus lineup are:
- Nioh
- Outlast 2
While Outlast 2 would have a more suitable title for October, we won’t complain even if the game is arriving in November. Outlast 2 is the sequel to Outlast which was released back in 2013 and is just as good as the original title. It follows a journalist named Blake Langermann who is exploring the Arizona desert with his wife Lynn to investigate the murder of a woman called Jane Doe.
However, things do not go as the couple had planned and Lynn ends up being kidnapped in an isolated rural community which is occupied by a deranged cult. You must fight the local crazed inhabitants to locate and rescue your partner before time runs out for both of you. As you look for your wife, you end up finding even more disturbing secrets under the village. It is an excellent title to play this month.
Nioh, on the other hand, plays out pretty much like a Soulsborne title due to its elevated difficulty, combat mechanics and role-playing. The game is set in the blood-soaked Sengoku period where players take on the role of an embattled outsider as they fight to liberate a guardian spirit from a power-hungry sorcerer.
Players have a large number of weapons at their disposal including swords, spears, shuriken, rifles, bows and powerful elemental magic. Players can also hone their skills and upgrade their weapons to take some of the fiercest demons in ancient Japan. Nioh features powerful armor and different playstyles for players to adapt to as they explore overrun towns, brooding caves and abandoned harbors.
