PlayStation has officially revealed the PS Plus titles coming to PS Plus members in October 2020. PS Plus members will be able to grab Need for Speed Payback and Vampyr during the month before the next-gen arrives next month. Both titles will join the PS Plus lineup on October 6, 2020, and will remain available throughout the month.
Need for Speed Payback was released back in 2017 and is the franchise’s take on the action racing featured in the Fast and the Furious these days. The game features a revenge story where you race to the edge to get to the people who wronged you. The game is set in the city of Fortune Valley which is corrupt and is host to gamblers. You can pick your character out of three and start your story as you build your racing machines and use them to take down the opposition.
On the other hand, Vampyr comes from a developer that we’ve grown to love over the years for their brilliant games. Dontnod Entertainment, the developer of Life is Strange, launched Vampyr back in 2018 and is a third-person action RPG set in the 1918s with deep narrative choices. You step in the shoes of a doctor who heals the people during the daytime but when the night falls, feeds on the very same people he treats during the day.
You explore the dark and gritty London who is gripped by violence and fear. You have plenty of supernatural abilities along with man-made tools and weapons to fight or flee the forces of evil and vampire hunters. It will eventually boil down on your conscience whether you want to save the citizens or feed on them for your own benefit.
The current September PS Plus titles will be gone on October 6, 2020, so if you still have to add them to your library, time is running out. October 2020 games will remain on PS Plus until November 2, 2020, before it transitions into next-gen.
