PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds aka PUBG released March 23 2017 on PC Steam platform. The game later released on Xbox One and few days back there were rumors about its release on PlayStation 4.
As announced on PlayStationBlog, PUBG is officially releasing December 7, 2018 on PlayStation 4. Just in case you missed the official announcement, check out the trailer here.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds for PlayStation 4 will come in four different editions. We will break it down for you the different editions and exclusive in-game cosmetic and other rewards in the list below.
- Disc Edition: $30 USD (MSRP) / $38.99 CAD (MSRP) Includes: Base Game
- Looter’s Digital Edition: $30 USD (MSRP) / $38.99 CAD (MSRP) Includes: Base Game
- Survivor’s Digital Edition: $50 USD (MSRP) / $64.99 CAD (MSRP) Includes: Base Game, Vikendi Event Pass, 2,300 G-Coin Pack, 20,000 BP
- Champion’s Digital Edition: $60 USD (MSRP) / $77.99 CAD (MSRP) Includes: Base Game, Vikendi Event Pass, 6,000 G-Coin Pack, 20,000 BP
Additionally, those of you who will pre-order the game will get two extra in-game cosmetic items. You will receive Nathan Drake Desert Outfit from the Uncharted series and Ellie’s Backpack from The Last of Us. Both of the items can be equipped in-game. For profile cosmetics, you will get a PUBG avatar and PlayStation 4 theme.
The arrival of PUBG on the PS4 is no surprise since it was expected from a long time that it would be coming. The delay could only mean that the one year Xbox One exclusive deal is nearing its end which allows the game an entrance in the PlayStation world.
PUBG is releasing on PlayStation after a long time. The game is releasing with exclusive in-game rewards that will surely make up to fps genre battle royale fans of the community.
