Rage 2 is getting new content that includes cheat codes, vehicles, enemies, weapons and more. Rage 2 Rise Of The Ghosts expansion has also been announced which offers plenty of new content including mechs that can be used to take the insanity to the next level. Rage 2 was released last month and just a month later, Bethesda has announced tons of brand new content coming to the game.
The new cheat codes coming to the game include cheats like Low Gravity which will make you jump really high and vehicles you sent flying will be sent flying even higher. Another cheat is Bloody Mess which seems to explode enemies into a bloody mess when you fire at them making them fly everywhere in tiny bits. One of our favorite cheats from the trailer is the Rejector Seat which throws you out from the vehicle as it plows into your enemies squishing them.
Coming to vehicles, the game will be getting a fully pilotable mech which looks amazing and it seems like the best addition to the game so far. It will come with dual machine gun weapons and will be able to hover above the ground for a short time or just enough so that you can guide it above some enemies and squish them with its weight when it comes crashing down on their heads. Other vehicles include the Skull Motorcycle and the Armadillo which is a giant one wheeler bike type thing.
Also announced during the presentation is the Rise of the Ghosts expansion which will be the biggest addition to the world of Rage 2 so far. It will add brand new areas for you to explore, new weapons and gear for you to collect and a brand new quest line for you to complete. It will add a brand new faction to the game as well which means that you will have more enemies to blast, squish and run over.

Bethesda has simply announced that all this content will be added to Rage 2 monthly so there is no fixed release date for all the content at this point. We are expecting that Bethesda will announce the arrival of the content to the game gradually as it becomes available in the game. It certainly looks like Bethesda has long term plans for Rage 2 and is not going to let this game die easily just like Fallout 76 which is also getting a meaty update soon.
Let us know what you think about the new content coming to Rage 2 and whether or not you are interested in jumping back into the game when the new content launches.
