New Ranger Update Adds New Game Plus to Metro Exodus

4A Games has released a new update for Metro Exodus called Ranger update and it adds New Game Plus mode to the title. Metro Exodus was previously missing an option to restart the game with all the unlocked content however now the new update has added the New Game Plus mode which will allow players to jump back in the game with all their stuff unlocked.

The New Game Plus mode brings with it different modifiers which will allow you to customize the difficulty level of your second playthrough. The new update also brings with it a large number of performances improvements and bug fixes. The new modifiers will allow you to tailor your difficulty and you can make the game easier or more difficult in certain areas.

The following new modifiers have been added to the game.

My Weapons: Begin the new playthrough with all your previous weapons and attachments except armor and wrist upgrades.
One Weapon: You only have one weapon slot throughout the game.
Crossbow: Receive Helsing Crossbow along with Tikhar Pneumatic Rifle
Backpack Limitations: Disables backpack crafting.
Armored Enemies: Enemies are much heavily armored.
Tougher Creatures: Creatures are stronger.
Grenadiers: Human enemies will use more explosives in combat.
Real-time Weather: Day and Night cycle will take actual 24-hours.
Bad Weather: Weather is harsher for more frequently.
Radiation is forever: Each level has more irradiated zones.
Iron Mode: Manual saves are disabled and the game is only saved at the beginning of the level.
Developer Commentary: Developer commentary tapes can be found in the world. They are green tape players.
