Ratdog Games has announced that their brand-new FPS Rogue-Lite Gunnhildr has now launched in Early Access on Steam. Gunnhildr is inspired by Norse Mythology and features the journey of an exiled heroine. The full release of Gunnhildr is slated for 2021.
As the exiled heroine, you will be leading a rebellion against the Elders of Niflheim as you protect its innocent civilians from Halite. Halite is a natural resource and is the key to the planet’s salvation and its destruction. As you uncover the secrets of Niflheim, you will journey through its distinct world with fast-paced dynamic action. You will collect ancient weapons and power-ups and build your very own rebellion to fight and defeat The Primes.

We are bringing this game to Early Access because, as a Roguelite, we have the opportunity to build and balance it alongside our community. Gunnhildr is already a solid first-person shooter based on our own original storyline, which is told mainly through voice-over narration. We are bringing Gunnhildr to Early Access so that we may receive feedback, make sure the game is as fun as possible and know which direction the community wants us to take with the project. What we build is dependent on your feedback, and we’ll be paying attention both here and over on our Discord channel.

The full game is expected to release in 2021 however you can now jump in the Early Access and help the developers as the game develops.
