Finding the Map
Bard’s Crossing Treasure Map is one of the many treasure maps you can find in Red Dead Online. To get the map, you will be required to first reach Rank 10 of the Online. Once you are Rank 10, head to your nearest post office or the collection box at your camp to get the Bard’s Crossing Treasure Map. Now that you have found the map, you can easily find the treasure. To begin you search, head to Bard’s Crossing located on the north side of Blackwater.
Finding the Treasure
Sadly, the treasure does not spawn at a specific location for this map and the search area depicted by the map is quite large. There are different spawn locations for the treasure chest so you will need to check a few locations that we have detailed below. You also need to check that even if a treasure chest spawns at a location, it might not contain the treasure at all. If it happens, check out the other spawn locations for the real treasure chest.
Spawn Location #1
Head to the small island in the Dakota River north of the big Bard’s Crossing bridge. On the island, look for a fallen tree and a large stone at the south side of the island. The treasure chest spawns next to them.
Spawn Location #2
There is a rocky Cliffside on the east of the search area and south of the train tracks. Head there and look under a big rock right alongside the cliff walls. Refer to the image below. There will be a chest there.
Spawn Location #3
Make your way to the north side of the search area, near the river where you also met a stranger in the single player mode for a treasure map. Go to the edge of the cliff here and look for a chest sitting underneath a tree.
Spawn Location #4
Make your way to the southeast edge of the land right to the very edge where the water starts. Look for a small chest here between some grass and a stone.
