There are 20 Dreamcatchers in Red Dead Redemption 2 and they can be collected in any order once you reach chapter 2. They can be found after you reach Chapter 2 of the main campaign. Collection of all the Dreamcatcher rewards you with a new Perk at Elysian Pool.
Dreamcatcher will reward you with Arrowhead Perk that allows your Stamina to last twice as long when you are using a bow.

Once you have collected all 20 Dreamcatchers, your character will open his logbook and draw a picture in it. Now you must head to the waterfall of Elysian Pool and enter the hidden cave behind it. Make sure you use your lantern in the cave since it is pretty dark inside.
Reach the end of the cave and you will see a painting on the wall. Interact with this painting and collect the item there. Once done, you will unlock your reward. This completes your dreamcatcher hunt.
